As a Stewarding Supervisor you will assist the Stewarding management team to deliver high quality service to the Food & Beverage division. Ensures cleanliness of the operation and adherence to all State and Federal health codes. Individuals in this position must possess a keen eye for detail, ability to follow directions, written and verbal, basic understanding of chemical usage. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

Valid CA Drivers License

Valid CA Food Handlers Card

Experience working without direct supervision.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Basic understanding of chemical usage.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Positive, friendly demeanor.

Function well as part of a team.

Previous experience in a kitchen or sanitation related position.

Previous experience with guest or customer relations.

Intermediate or advanced understanding of chemical usage.

Essential Job Functions

Lead the Stewards in ensuring the kitchen and all food and beverage outlets meet the highest standard of sanitation.

Supervise the collection of dishes, pots, pans, kitchen utensils and equipment from various outlets in the building, sorting and separation of china, glassware and silverware.

Supply the kitchen and wait staff with clean utensils and dishes for service; deliver various kitchen equipment between resort outlets.

Ensure that the dishwashing conveyor and all related equipment are well maintained, cleaned and operated according to standard.

Contact service representatives when necessary for repairs and follow up to ensure that repairs are completed.

Oversee the cleaning schedule for all kitchens and areas of responsibility to insure proper cleanliness for Health Department inspections and daily inspections.

Oversee the packing and transportation of china, glassware and silverware required for on-site and off-site banquet events and inventory the items when they are returned.

Facilitate and ensure that daily stand up meetings by shift are conducted to ensure that property information is communicated and understood.
