Base pay range $15.00/hr - $15.00/hr
Overview This part‑time associate samples alcohol products for suppliers within a Sam's Club location. Alcohol Samplers introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands by conducting alcohol tastings.
Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstrating, brand ambassadorship, or brand advocacy is beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities
Maintain a professional appearance and dress code (typically black clothing) consistent with the job requirements.
Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws specific to sampling and marketing of alcohol.
Acquire the appropriate permit, license, or certification as required by law.
Professionally and safely prepare and serve alcohol and food samples using various types of equipment and small appliances.
Qualifications
Must be 18-21 years of age based on location.
Weekends (Friday‑Sunday) preferred; holidays & weekday work available.
Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on days worked.
Ability to safely use appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
Work Environment
Moderate to high noise levels in a retail grocery warehouse environment.
Exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
