At the Woodhaven Retirement Community, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, warm environment, where our residents feel at home, safe, and respected. We are currently seeking a dedicated and caring Resident Dining Attendant to join our team and contribute to a positive and meaningful dining experience for our elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide attentive, friendly meal service to residents in the dining room
Set up dining areas before meals and ensure a clean, welcoming environment
Take and deliver meal orders accurately and promptly
Assist residents with menu selections, including dietary restrictions
Support kitchen staff with light food prep, plating, and dishwashing as needed
Follow proper sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures
Build meaningful relationships with residents and work collaboratively with other team members
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or caregiving preferred but not required
A heart for serving older adults with kindness and patience
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player
