Quick Lube Service Technician Subaru of Jacksonville is currently seeking to add Subaru Express Lube Technicians to our service team. Come work in a brand new, climate-controlled service department. Subaru of Jacksonville is a fast-paced, high volume dealership looking to expand our team in order to properly serve our customers. We are committed to performing the most excellent quality of work.

This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.

Responsibilities

Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly

Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles

Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage

Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

On-the-job training supplied

Requirements

Ability to identify the problem quickly

Knowledge of automobiles

Effective analytical and communication skills

Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications

Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment

High school diploma or GED

Technical degree preferred

Experience is not required, but is preferred

Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to an Excellent quality of work

Positive, friendly attitude

Must be able to pass drug and background screenings
