The main responsibility of the Server is to "Make Pleasurable Dining Affordable." Fulfilling Golden Corral’s mission requires a positive attitude and ongoing professionalism. Hospitality is the most important part of the Server’s responsibilities. Key qualities for success include a neat appearance, a positive attitude, and courtesy.
Hospitality:
Ensure guest satisfaction and promote return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service. Practice positive public relations to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests. Be attentive to guests’ needs and work to make their experience pleasurable. Show enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and promotions. Promote teamwork by assisting other Servers to ensure outstanding guest service. Operational Excellence:
Understand product specifications and ensure receipts match the number of guests. Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties. Report equipment and facility issues to the Manager. Be familiar with proper table bussing procedures. Follow safe work practices to ensure safety for yourself, co-workers, and guests. Meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards, including duty roster adherence. Comply with local health department laws. Thank you for your interest in Golden Corral.
