Position Description Teachers Assistant (TA) Student Employee
Scope of Responsibility The School of Health Sciences and Wellness (SHSW) is hiring a student employee Teacher's Assistant for FN 151. Student employee TA's will report to the instructor of record for all sections of FN 151 and complete work on a desktop computer owned by SHSW located in the College of Professional Studies Building.
Specific Duties Access FN 151 Canvas course with student login credentials. Take grading attendance directions from instructor of record. Always maintain confidentiality of student identities and grades. Access Canvas only when logged into the designated workstation for TA's in CPS, room 231. Skills/Requirements
Proficiency in Canvas and Microsoft Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn Critical thinking Confidentiality compliance (FERPA)
Qualifications and Compensation To qualify for this position, applicants must be in good academic standing with the University. The position requires the ability to work approximately 3 to 10 hours per week during the fall and spring semester. Hourly wage = $14.00/hour.
