This role focuses on designing and planning the layout of power distribution systems to ensure the efficient functioning of energy infrastructures. Integral to our operations, this position blends your expertise in power systems with our cutting-edge technology, driving enhancements in electricity distribution through innovative, data-driven decision-making processes. Design and plan the physical and network components of electrical power distribution systems. Analyze and prepare make-ready designs for new installations or modifications to facilitate new utility pole attachments. Collaborate with utility companies, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Utilize AI and machine learning technologies to analyze data and improve design accuracy and efficiency. Prepare and provide detailed documentation and schematics for all design implementations. Conduct field surveys and data collection as necessary to support design and compliance requirements. Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software. Strong understanding of power distribution systems and utility standards. Ability to interpret and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations. Strong analytical skills, with an ability to utilize AI tools for data analysis and design improvement. Excellent communication and project management skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Certification in CAD design.
