We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the correct items in their orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This fast-paced role requires a strong ability to work efficiently while maintaining high accuracy. You will utilize scanning equipment to track inventory movement and ensure order integrity. This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, and frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus. Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels. Proficiency with handheld scanners and other warehouse technology. Capable of performing tasks requiring physical stamina, including walking, bending, and Lifting up to 40 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and meet performance targets. Good organizational skills. Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE . Understanding of basic inventory management and Logistics . Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team player with a positive attitude. Knowledge of warehouse operations. Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately. Excellent time management skills. Focus on order accuracy and customer satisfaction. - Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product quality.
