Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse locations based on order pick lists.
- Prepare picked items for the packing station, ensuring they are ready for shipment.
- Operate any necessary picking equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Verify that picked items match the requirements of the customer order.
- Assist with restocking and replenishment of warehouse inventory as directed.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety footwear and eye protection.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Capacity for regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control principles is helpful.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in picking processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
