Job Summary:
Our Durham, North Carolina facility is looking for diligent Order Pickers to join our logistics team. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders based on pick lists or RF scanner data.
- Locate products efficiently within the warehouse.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Assist with replenishing inventory in picking locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform routine checks on equipment used for picking.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervision.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Capacity to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
