Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from assigned warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify the identity and quantity of items picked against order requirements.
- Package picked items securely for shipping, ensuring product protection.
- Stage orders for outbound transportation, ensuring correct routing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to warehouse standards.
- Strictly follow all company safety protocols and wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics team.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting and movement.
- Understand and apply safety best practices in all warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an order picking or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels accurately.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive motions.
- Proficiency in handling items requiring moderate lifting (up to 25 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Awareness of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
