Principal Product Marketing Manager
We’re looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to help drive growth for a leading consumer financial technology product used by millions. This role is ideal for a strategic, customer‑obsessed product marketer who enjoys influencing product direction, crafting differentiated messaging, and improving the end‑to‑end customer experience.
You’ll serve as the voice of the customer, deeply understand their needs and pain points, and translate those insights into positioning, go‑to‑market strategy, and campaigns that drive acquisition and retention. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, Design, and Customer Care to shape experiences that delight users and fuel growth.

What you’ll do
Be the expert on and advocate for the customer, with a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and pain points
Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences
Lead qualitative and quantitative research, experimentation, and testing to uncover insights and validate product and marketing decisions
Identify current and future market opportunities, including new features, offerings, pricing, and business models
Influence product roadmaps by partnering closely with Product Management and bringing customer and market insights to the table
Develop and execute promotional strategies and integrated marketing campaigns in partnership with Design and Channel teams
Partner with Customer Care to understand feedback, friction points, and opportunities to improve the customer experience
Drive growth outcomes through data‑backed ideas, strong execution, and cross‑functional collaboration
Maintain a test‑and‑learn mindset to continuously improve messaging, campaigns, and performance
What we’re looking for
5+ years of product marketing experience, with end‑to‑end ownership of positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market execution
Proven track record of crafting compelling value propositions in competitive markets
Strong customer‑first mindset with curiosity about user behavior, motivations, and decision‑making
Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment
Data‑driven approach with comfort analyzing campaign performance, CAC, LTV, market sizing, and business cases
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
High energy, proactive, and solution‑oriented mindset with a passion for testing and learning
Experience or strong interest in personal finance or investing
