About Us:
US Foods is one of the leading food distributors with a culture rooted in internal growth and continuous improvement. Main Responsibilities:
Safely drive trucks to deliver to customers, ensuring timely arrivals.
Unload merchandise using equipment such as pallet jacks and manually place items in designated areas.
Confirm delivery accuracy and obtain necessary customer signatures.
Handle collection and payment processing when needed.
Deliver exceptional customer service that enhances client experiences.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry 20 to 80+ lbs. regularly throughout each shift.
Comfortable driving in various weather conditions with multiple stops (10+ during each shift).
Qualifications:
Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse:
Registration is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a valid CDL Class A license from your state of residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience, or three months in the food and beverage delivery sector.
Experience with manual transmission is preferred; it may be required in specific areas.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
