PostgreSQL Subject Matter Expert

is looking for a

PostgreSQL SME (subject matter expert)

to support a large scale Federal IT program. This person needs to

be local to Fort Belvoir, VA for emergencies, but is mostly remote.

Essential Duties of the PostgreSQL SME:

Design, deploy, and maintain high-performance Postgres database environments

Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues

Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures

Manage database backups and recovery procedures

Qualifications of the PostgreSQL SME:

5+ years of experience in SQL Database Administration and/or Development.

Must be able to obtain and maintain an activeSecret or Top Secret clearance.

Strong experience with Postgres SQL including configuration, tuning, and monitoring.

Certifications like Security+ or PostgreSQL Certified Professional is preferred.

Compensation for the PostgreSQL SME:

$115,000 - $155,000 (based on experience)

GREAT remote flexibility (only onsite for emergencies)
