Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced
Electrical Estimator
to support major
semiconductor manufacturing projects
in the Phoenix area. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong estimating expertise in
low-voltage electrical systems
and experience working on large, complex capital projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical cost estimates and supporting preconstruction and project delivery teams on high-value semiconductor facilities. You will collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure cost certainty, competitiveness, and alignment with project scope and schedule.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed
electrical cost estimates
with a primary focus on
low-voltage systems .
Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope documents to develop accurate takeoffs and pricing.
Support
semiconductor cleanroom and manufacturing facility
projects.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids and participate in bid leveling.
Work closely with project controls, design, and construction teams to validate scope and assumptions.
Assist with cost planning, value engineering, and change management.
Maintain estimating databases, benchmarks, and historical cost data.
Support client presentations and cost reviews as required.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience as an
Electrical Estimator
or similar role.
Strong knowledge of
low-voltage electrical systems
(required).
Experience on
semiconductor, data center, industrial, or high-tech manufacturing projects
strongly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency with estimating software and MS Excel.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
