A financial services firm dedicated to helping retirees achieve financial security is seeking a Lead Financial Advisor to join our team.
This independent firm specializes in Financial Planning, Tax Planning, and Estate Planning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, initiative, integrity, and a solid work ethic. Advisors focus on client service and portfolio management; they do not prospect new clients, relying instead on an extensive referral network.
Responsibilities
Prepare client files with critical and pertinent financial planning information
Initiate business-to-business phone calls in support of financial transactions
Build rapport and provide hospitality to clients
Perform portfolio risk analysis and provide investment recommendations based on research
Assist with client case updates, onboarding, applications, documents, meeting preparation, and process
Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness
Participate in client meetings to co‑present recommendations and deliver advice
Meet with clients and help close business
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
Series 65 or 66 and 7 licenses required
Life and health insurance license preferred (not required)
Required Skills
Knowledge of key financial, investment, risk management concepts and retirement planning
Proficiency with mathematical calculations
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficiency in verbal and written communication
Ability to give an oral presentation to a small group
Social and emotional intelligence
