Print Designer Technician – Coppin State University, University, FL, United States
Print Designer Technician (Open) at the Division of Administration and Finance. The position is full‑time and paid $24.04 per hour. Applicants may submit applications until January 1, 2026.
Responsibilities
Creates and reviews layout, sketches of proposed illustrations and related materials with the client and determines style, techniques and medium best suited to produce desired effects. Coordinates projects from conception to completion. Operates standard printing, copying, and finishing equipment. Performs routine maintenance on printing machines according to prescribed procedures. Cleans, adjusts, and makes minor repairs and packages as needed. Prepares and maintains production records and inventory of print supplies. Performs material handling activities such as stocking shelves, loading and unloading printing equipment and handling paper cases. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design or illustration. Experience: One year progressively responsible experience as a graphic artist. Knowledge, skills and abilities: General knowledge of graphic design, illustrative procedures, and application of visual design to print and multimedia; knowledge of printing, typography and graphic production processes; knowledge of art production methods, layout and design of publications; ability to coordinate graphics design projects; ability to understand and interpret information visually; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to operate computer graphic systems and software.
