What Product and Solutions Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health Product & Solutions Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.
Job Summary The Global Product Manager is an upstream marketing leader for our Facial Protection portfolio, which includes procedure and surgical masks, shields, and eyewear. This role will be critical in shaping the strategy, performance, and long-term direction of the portfolio, identifying opportunities for innovation and driving continued growth in a dynamic market. Success will require strong cross‑functional collaboration and the ability to build effective relationships across key business functions.
Responsibilities
Own and manage the Facial Protection portfolio, including: oDriving ongoing business performance and full product lifecycle management oIdentifying and executing growth and expansion opportunities oLeveraging market intelligence to inform strategy and portfolio evolution
Lead cross‑functional collaboration to ensure aligned planning and execution across commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, regulatory, quality, medical affairs, and R&D teams.
Develop and refine portfolio strategy, including positioning, segmentation, and long‑term roadmap planning.
Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to identify innovation opportunities and unmet needs.
Partner with manufacturing, supply chain and operations to strengthen supply resilience, optimize service levels, and support continuity of supply.
Support U.S. downstream marketing with product expertise, launch readiness, messaging, and strategic guidance.
Drive business performance through KPI tracking, financial analysis, and data‑driven decision‑making.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards across the product lifecycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
4+ years of experience in a related field, preferred
Proven experience managing product lifecycles, including sustaining activities, roadmap planning, and business performance management
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret market data, financials, and customer insights
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences
Experience working with manufacturing, supply chain, regulatory, and quality teams in a highly regulated environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic market environment
Must be able to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
Must be able to participate in 1-2 evening calls bi‑weekly or as needed
Anticipated salary range:
$80,900 - $103,950
