Air Import Specialist – Atlanta, Georgia
Job Location:

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all air import shipments, ensuring timely bookings with airlines on behalf of customers.
Prepare import documentation in accordance with country requirements, including Certificate of Origin, Cargo Manifest, NAFTA Certificate, Airway Bill, and other required documents.
File AES (Automated Export System) import customs compliantly.
Ensure timely completion of import documents and coordinate with customers and/or warehouses for cargo delivery.
Communicate regularly with customers regarding shipment status and maintain continuous communication with overseas carriers to meet delivery commitments; follow‑up with airlines to monitor departure, arrival, and updates.
Accurately invoice rendered services in accordance with company policy.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer profiles.
Meet all KPI targets assigned and audited by the Control Tower.
Skills / Requirements
1+ year experience in the transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding industry (air import experience preferred but not required).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑up skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Cargo Wise system knowledge is a plus.
Pay Range $21.32 – $28.43 per hour (based on experience).
