Part-time Digital Content Editor (Onsite)

W2 3‑month Contract, Part‑time (20 hours per week)
Compensation:
$50 – $56 per hour
Cella is seeking a part‑time Digital Content Editor for a short‑term contract (3 months) with a multinational cosmetics company in New York City. The role sits on the Global Digital Education team and supports the brand strategy by producing engaging video content for retail employees and customers.
Responsibilities
Support the Director of Digital Education to develop and execute the Video Content strategy seasonally (≈60%).
Collaborate with the Assistant Manager of Artistry + Education and Product Development to determine product sample needs and orchestrate shipments to creators.
Plan and commission UGC content by drafting support requests and designing Creator Briefs.
Lead the aggregation of UGC content: briefing creators, tracking timelines, following up, downloading, and reviewing footage.
Assist in planning and production of video shoots led by Global Education.
Support the editing process by organizing and providing creative assets and footage to editors, and participate in the review phase through final video approval.
Shoot and edit smaller‑scale, low‑fi videos for fast‑to‑market needs, meetings, presentations, and marketing forecast support.
Manage final video delivery, including creation of SRT transcripts and sharing content with the field.
Logistical Support to Existing Learning Technologies (≈30%)
Upload content to the LMS and activate videos on various platforms in a timely manner.
Organize LMS content, ensuring proper mapping, translations, and toggling of promotional settings.
Source, evaluate, recommend, and implement new digital solutions to build future capabilities.
Collaboration & Teamwork (≈10%)
Collaborate closely with the Global Education team, subject matter experts, and corporate partners.
Apply a design‑thinking approach to the design and development of all learning experiences.
Participate in brainstorms and content‑creation alignment meetings.
Embrace a test‑and‑learn mindset.
Provide support to Education initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Relevant learning & development experience in a digital learning environment.
Experience evaluating and implementing digital learning solutions.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (a plus).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 360 Suite.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
Experience with InDesign and Illustrator (a plus).
Strong understanding of video content creation.
Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning analytics.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong collaboration, leadership, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent organizational, writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Continuous learning mindset and awareness of digital learning trends.
Design thinking mindset.
