We are a small NYC architectural practice specializing in residential interiors looking for a creative and organized individual to join our team as an intermediate architectural designer with professional drafting experience. We are located in Manhattan's Flatiron District.
Role Description This is an in person role for an Architectural Designer/Draftsperson located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Architectural Draftsperson will be responsible for creating precise architectural drawings, detailed construction documents, assisting in planning processes, and contributing to the overall architectural design process. Daily tasks include collaborating with architects and engineers, ensuring accuracy in all drafted documents, and revising drawings according to feedback.
Qualifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, Adobe Creative Suite
Proficiency in Lumion or D5 a plus
Experience in preparing Construction Documents
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Architecture preferred
