Position Overview Commercial Roofing Foreman – Rutland, VT. Pay starting at $27-30/hr (BOE). Spanish speaking preferred.
Responsibilities
Removal and installation of all types of roof systems, including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and slope (tile/shingles).
Roof maintenance and repairs.
Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
Manage commercial roofing crew, including completing required paperwork, attending meetings, and assisting in training crew members as needed.
Track inventory and file daily reports.
Requirements
3-5 years experience leading commercial roofing crews.
Experience with all types of commercial roofing systems is ideal.
A valid driver's license.
Initiative, integrity, and adaptability.
Ability to climb ladders, regularly bend, climb, and kneel.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
Capability to work at varying heights and during various weather conditions.
Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening.
Working Conditions
Field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and temperature.
Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders; frequent lifting not to exceed 50 pounds.
Local travel, up to 2 hours away.
