Job Description Cornerstone Building Brands is looking to hire a highly motivated sales professional for the position of District Sales Manager in the southeast US territory. The teammate will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for the profitable growth and market development of the territory. This role represents our MBCI brand and product line within the Commercial Roof & Wall segment, with direct sales to sub‑contractors, general contractors and roofing contractors.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals.

Maintains a comprehensive understanding of all Cornerstone Building Brands product and system offerings in the market.

Demonstrates a complete understanding of key customers’ businesses and the critical measures that drive each account.

Works effectively and collaboratively with all internal Cornerstone departments to ensure customer experience is optimized and efficient.

Leverages operating systems to support sales activities.

Qualifications

College degree or equivalent work experience.

2+ years of proven sales/marketing or sales management experience, 5+ years in building materials.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with associates, customers, subsidiaries, and agents.

Understanding of the construction process and the ability to comprehend and translate architectural plans and specifications.

Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities.

Knowledge of drafting, estimating, and inside sales processes.

Capacity to work independently and within a team environment.

Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

50–70% travel in market (2–3 overnight stays per week).

Additional Information The US average base salary for this role is $70,000–$90,000, plus sales incentive, auto allowance, medical, dental, and vision benefits starting day 1, 401(k), and PTO. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location and may vary based on job‑related skills, experience, and education.
