Vitas Sales Representative
Join VITAS Healthcare as a Sales Representative and be at the front line of change—educating physicians, healthcare leaders, and professionals about the value of hospice care. You’ll build trusted relationships, guide referral sources through understanding prognostication and the Medicare hospice benefit, and work closely with clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
Salary Range $57,990.40 – $96,595.20 per year

Confidently guide referral sources through understanding prognostication, the value proposition of hospice, and how to have effective conversations for families facing serious illness.
Champion the benefits of the Medicare hospice benefit.
Work alongside clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
Grow professionally, learn continuously, and serve passionately.
Where You’ll Work You’ll be based out of a local VITAS office and actively engaging across your territory. Whether it’s a physician's office, hospital, or care facility, you’ll go where the need is, always focused on making meaningful connections.

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of sales experience, or experience in healthcare services preferred.
Participated in a competitive team environment that involved individual accountability and teamwork.
Demonstrated critical thinking and solution creation.
Past military service a plus.
Volunteer organization experience a plus.
Hospice experience preferred but not required.
Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market and/or consistently exceeding corporate goals.
Strong customer service, sense of urgency, and problem-solving skills.
Time management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated knowledge and successful application of a need-satisfaction selling process.
Ability to manage a territory, conduct sales calls, and generate sales by building long-term business partnerships.
Strong interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Other acceptable licenses include RN, LPN/LVN, or Social Work (SW).
