Metric Search is working with a well-established industrial services and equipment provider with a strong presence across the Midwest. The organization supports manufacturing and large industrial customers with a combination of equipment, parts, service, and ongoing maintenance solutions.

Account Manager – Northern Indiana

We are seeking an

Account Manager

to manage and grow businesses across the

Northern Indiana territory . This field‑based role focuses on selling a full portfolio of industrial solutions, including

service, replacement parts, new equipment, and preventative maintenance (PM) contracts , into manufacturing and large industrial environments.

The Account Manager serves as a trusted advisor to customers, working closely with internal service and operations teams to deliver a seamless experience throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and expand relationships with manufacturing and large industrial customers across Northern Indiana

Sell a mix of service work, parts, equipment, and PM agreements

Identify customer needs related to reliability, uptime, and long‑term system performance

Develop new opportunities within existing accounts and through targeted prospecting

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution from sale through service delivery

Act as the primary point of contact for customer communication, follow‑up, and issue resolution

Maintain organized territory planning, documentation, and account activity

Qualifications / Skills

Experience in outside sales or account management within an industrial or technical setting

Proven ability to sell service‑based solutions in addition to physical products

Mechanical or technical aptitude; experience with industrial equipment preferred

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage maintenance teams, engineers, and plant leadership

Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a field‑based role

Excellent organization, time management, and problem‑solving skills

Familiarity with CRM systems and standard business software

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Northern Indiana territory
