Account Executive
and help drive our logistics solutions across the United States.
About The Role Account Executives report to a Senior/National Account Manager and grow existing accounts by leveraging Spot’s services and freight solutions to nurture relationships and build lasting partnerships.
Responsibilities
Manage client operational relationships and day-to-day operations between customers and Spot, ensuring satisfaction and addressing inquiries.
Serve as a direct communication channel for clients and prospective clients, operating, maintaining, and growing assigned accounts.
Review and identify new opportunities with clients, coordinating with the National Account Director to determine the appropriate approach for each designated customer.
Ensure consistent operations and load management with internal Spot stakeholders, including Carrier Account Management, Carrier Services, and Logistics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred and previous sales or customer service experience desirable.
Logistics industry knowledge is preferred.
Proven track record of successful customer support.
Skills
Fast‑paced performance and metrics mindset.
Strong negotiation and persuasive communication.
Entrepreneurial spirit and self‑motivation.
Excellent organization, detail orientation, and adaptability.
Decision-making and problem‑solving skills.
Additional Information
Non‑exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act; overtime eligible.
Onsite 5 days a week – Indianapolis, Indiana.
Base pay: $45,000 with potential for increased base pay or bonuses.
Location & Salary Indianapolis, IN – $55,000 – $75,000 per year.
