Loan Documentation Specialist - Detailer/Scanner
Location: Twin Falls, ID
Job Description The Loan Documentation Specialist is responsible for reviewing final loan packages for completeness. The role provides clerical support for all lending documentation activities and delivers high‑quality, professional service to lending personnel.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED required
Experience helpful, especially in a financial environment
Basic knowledge of commercial and consumer loan services and procedures preferred
Familiarity with general loan documentation helpful
Accurate and attentive to detail
Well organized
Good typing skills
Willing and able to help others
Able to use a computer, adding machine, copy machine, and basic business equipment
Able to get along well with coworkers
Responsibilities
Receives completed loan packages to be reviewed and detailed
Verifies information listed on the “Boarding Data Sheet” matches the data input into internal systems and that all required documentation is included in the loan package (e.g., promissory note, security agreement, deed of trust, etc.)
Notifies the branch of any missing items via the Loan Documentation Correction sheet
Logs all pending items into database
Scans all documents into Laser Fiche
Assists with scanning miscellaneous documentation such as denials, typist packets, etc.
Coordinates functions with related departments and branches and provides support as needed
Verifies accuracy of input and documents as needed
Obtains and conveys information as needed
Keeps management informed of area activities and any significant problems or concerns
Ensures that customers' requests and questions are promptly resolved
Maintains and projects the Bank's professional reputation
Promotes D.L. Evans Bank at all times
Serves as a representative for D.L. Evans Bank in the community
Completes special projects as assigned
