National Sales Manager - Airport Baggage Handling Solutions
Location: Atlanta, GA or Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid / Travel-Based)
Compensation: $150k-175k+ total comp (salary + strong bonus plan)
Travel: 50%-75%, primarily domestic some international

About the Role The National Sales Manager will focus on growing sales for the company's Transfer Belt System - a specialized conveyor solution used inside airports at airline counters, baggage make-up areas, and claim carousels.
You’ll partner with airport authorities, airlines, and baggage system contractors to identify opportunities, manage complex sales cycles, and lead solution implementation. This position complements an existing outside the airport team so this is your chance to own the "inside the airport" vertical.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and expand partnerships with airports, airlines, and baggage handling system integrators.
Lead the full sales process - from technical presentations and tenders to implementation and long-term account growth.
Collaborate with global engineering, operations, and leadership teams to deliver customized solutions.
Manage sales cycles ranging from six months to two years and oversee trial deployments through successful conversion.
Travel to client sites, domestic and international airports, trade shows, and industry events (typically ~50%, occasionally higher).
Requirements
Proven track record in B2B technical or capital equipment sales, ideally in aviation, automation, or material handling.
Experience with tender-based or consultative sales requiring multi-stakeholder collaboration.
Excellent relationship‑building, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience in the IABSC and AAAE airport ecosystems.
Resilient, proactive, and hands‑on approach to customer engagement.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
