Job Summary
Landscape Construction Laborer utilizes hand and/or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscape construction duties.
This role may require extensive travel, including overnight stays. Travel expenses are covered by the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manually excavate with shovel
Hand tool use including wheelbarrow
Load & unload materials
Experience with planting, grading and sodding.
Education and Experience
Landscape Construction experience helpful, but not necessary.
Physical Demands/Requirements
Ability to use manual hand tools such as shovels for extended period.
Ability to move soil, equipment, and materials, dig holes, and plant trees, shrubs, and flowers.
Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.
Ability to load/unload semi trucks
Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day.
Work Environment
Ability to work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic.
Ability to work near or about natural bodies of water.
Ability to work 8+ hours per day with applicable breaks x 5 days/week (some overtime/weekend work required)
Ability to work in extreme conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
