Position Greenbush Logistics, Inc. is looking for a Diesel Mechanic. Our Diesel Mechanics play an important role in ensuring that our equipment runs properly. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and trailers, including company-owned Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, and Mack trucks, as well as Hyundai and Linde lift trucks.

Responsibilities

Analyze problems and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs (troubleshooting equipment issues).

Perform mechanical & electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.

Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and validate work performed.

Ensure safety by following all company policies, including safety rules, procedures, and Lock-out / Tag-out procedures.

Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted. Maintain complete records of work performed using software, work orders, and detailed logs and have good communication skills across all groups/departments.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience Required:

Two (2) or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience (Required)

At least one (1) year of diesel engine repair experience preferred

At least one (1) year of mechanical knowledge preferred

Education

High School or better.

Technical/other training or better.

Experience

2 years or more of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience (Required)

At least one (1) year of diesel engine repair experience preferred

At least one (1) year of mechanical knowledge preferred
