Links at Sierra Blanca is seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented, service‑focused individual to join our team as Assistant Golf Professional. This role is essential to the daily operation of the golf facility, ensuring that pass‑holders and guests receive exceptional service and a welcoming experience from the moment they walk through the door, including the development of the game. This seasonal position starts April 1st and ends October 31st, with the possibility of transitioning into a year‑round permanent position. Experience Required
PGA Member or apprentice experience is preferred but not required; experience and knowledge of all aspects of golf operations are essential. Prior supervisor/management experience. Customer service experience. Essential Responsibilities
Assist in all management aspects of the Golf Shop Department, including hiring, training, disciplinary actions, and scheduling. Properly make tee times, check in members and their guests, and collect fees. Provide friendly customer service and quickly respond to members’ concerns and emails. Address and resolve any member or guest complaints immediately. Oversee all outside services including Driving Range, Cart Fleet Management, and all staging areas. Promote all club tournaments and leagues, organizing and running tournaments and leagues. Responsible for all merchandising in the Golf Shop; assist with ordering, inventory control, merchandise displays, promotions, monthly inventory, and special orders. Promote the game of golf through teaching and player development programs (golf clinics for all levels, junior golf programs, etc.). Ability to work well under pressure, pay attention to detail, and multitask. Effective communication with all staff in all departments, upper management, and members. Supervise and manage all aspects of the Golf Shop Department in the absence of the Director of Golf/Head Golf Professional. Great team leader and team player. Benefits
