Overview
Sales Rep - Long Island, NY You will be a part of our small but impactful sales team, with ample opportunity to grow. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in the surfacing or flooring industry. This position is remote, and the sales rep will not have to report to an office every day. Your day-to-day activities will require travelling to customers (4 out of 5.5 days), working from home—opening new doors, and providing sales service to customers in your territory (2 out of 5 days). Key Responsibilities
Travel to customers (4 out of 5.5 days) and work from home (2 out of 5 days).
Develop relationships with current and potential customers within a specific territory.
Provide up-to-date information about products and the sales cycle.
Offer excellent sales and after-sales support.
Understand and market our products effectively.
Manage displays, samples, and selling tools.
Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts.
Research and analyze customer needs based on market information.
Travel locally up to 80% and occasionally nationally.
Perform additional duties as required to help grow the company.
Ideal Candidate
Strong “get it done” attitude.
Valid driver’s license with a good record.
Strong math skills (discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, volume).
Results-oriented, able to work independently and in a team.
Experience with ERP systems and working with international teams (accounting, sales support, product team in the Philippines and India).

Education and Experience
