Austin, TX | Onsite | Contract (6 months, potential extension or conversion)
Our client is on a mission to train advanced robots to operate in human environments and assist with complex tasks. To achieve this, we create realistic physical scenes for robots to learn and interact with.
What You’ll Do:
Design and build detailed physical scenes that replicate real-world environments (manufacturing floors, kitchens, warehouses).
Create concept drawings, layouts, and a bill of materials (BOM) for each project.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to meet specific use-case requirements.
Maintain a safe, organized workshop and ensure scene stability for repeated use.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques (carpentry, set design, fabrication, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or sketches.
Strong creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience managing projects from concept to completion.
Ability to lift 25–45 lbs and work independently.
