About the Role This REMOTE position will be based in the Michigan area. You’ll lead sales for strategic power utility accounts, owning performance, articulating technical value, and guiding cross‑functional sales processes.
Responsibilities
Own sales performance for strategic power utility accounts in Michigan, including IOUs, IPPs, and EPCs.
Articulate technical value propositions to engineering, planning, and operations stakeholders within these accounts.
Lead cross‑functional sales processes supported by product, engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams.
Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives requiring executive‑level customer engagement.
Contribute to Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and maintain excellent pipeline/account plan hygiene.
Provide guidance in strategic and annual planning cycles.
Product Portfolio
Medium‑voltage switchgear (AIS & GIS)
Outdoor circuit breakers
MV control system
Power equipment centers
Overhead and underground distribution equipment
Low‑voltage motor control centers
Photovoltaic (PV) inverters
Supplementary MV and LV components
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related STEM field.
5+ years of experience in utility, energy, or infrastructure sectors, with a proven record of achieving or exceeding annual sales targets of $20M+.
Experience selling into IOU, IPP, EPC, and public power ecosystems.
Experience managing long sales cycles (9+ months) and navigating technical evaluation, procurement, and regulatory compliance.
Executive‑level communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong network among IOUs, renewable developers/IPPs, EPCs, and regional engineering firms.
Prior experience selling engineered‑to‑order solutions or complex hardware/software utility products.
Experience with account planning platforms or market intelligence tools.
Experience in large deal or multi‑year framework agreement sales cycles.

Base salary range $91,463 - $156,794 with uncapped commission; first‑year total compensation expectations $320,000 - $380,000 (actual wage may vary).
