Job Description

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care to seniors and Veterans in Davis and Weber Counties. This is a non-medical home care position focused on personal care, safety, companionship, and dignity.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care)

Provide safe transfers and mobility assistance

Meal preparation and assistance with eating

Medication reminders (no medication administration)

Light housekeeping related to client care

Companionship and emotional support

Dementia and Alzheimer’s care following care plans

Hospice-supportive care (training provided)

Document care and communicate changes to the office team

Qualifications

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Compassionate, dependable, and professional

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

Home care, assisted living, or skilled nursing experience

Dementia or Alzheimer’s care experience

Hospice or end-of-life care experience
