Position Summary

Reviewing files for adherence to underwriting standards and ensuring completeness of submission. Contacts borrower and/or mortgage broker to collect necessary documentation and act as a liaison between origination staff, underwriters, and customers. Active MLO Licensing Required. Essential Requirements

Track key dates of transaction. Maintain customer contact to ensure follow-up of loan application. Manage client and referral partner databases. Answer customer inquiries relating to locked status and loan application status to ensure quality customer service. Resolve file problems, bottlenecks and qualifying issues throughout production and underwriting process. Provide administrative support in the collection and preparation of loan application with supporting documentation to processing. Coordinate, create, track and distribute marketing materials. Duties

Act as primary point of contact for the customer, keeping them informed throughout the process. Obtain an accurate and thorough 1003. Analyze customer’s credit and financial scenario to determine appropriate loan product(s) and obtain accurate AUS findings. Price a profitable loan and communicate fees to operations team. Quote rate and make commitments regarding locking to the customer. Disclose initial 1003 and disclosures to the customer according to regulations. Collect supporting documentation from the customer. Discuss product features with customer. Submit a viable loan to processing. Review HUD-1 to ensure fees and cash at closing are consistent with the commitment to the customer. Market to referral sources to generate leads and loan production. Loan Officer Assistant Level

Level 1: 2–5 years of experience. Level 2: 5+ years of experience. Compensation & Benefits

Target salary: $40,000. This position offers eligibility for incentive compensation.
