ETHIC – Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, and Compassion – steadfastly characterizes our mission to continually enrich the daily lives of residents. We practice these principles with every task and interaction, from personal caregiver assistance to mowing the grass. At Touchmark, we say:
Touchmark at Georgetown, located on 13 beautifully landscaped acres just north of Austin and south of Sun City, is the newest addition to the Touchmark family, backed by more than 45 years of senior living experience. Our vibrant community offers a full continuum of care, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, all designed to support residents in living The FULL Life—on their terms. With thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, inviting terraces, and a strong focus on connection, wellness, and lifelong learning, Touchmark at Georgetown provides a welcoming environment where residents and team members alike can thrive.
As a Memory Care Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will enrich lives every day by assisting in the planning, creation and implementation of an activities program for our Memory Care residents that will meet the physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs of residents. You will have the daily opportunity to exercise your ability to encourage and motivate others, and to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their families!
Programming in Memory Care requires patience, flexibility, creativity, and the ability to adapt activities to meet residents where they are cognitively, emotionally, and physically. This role involves hands‑on engagement and consistent interaction with residents throughout the day.
This position follows a Tuesday through Saturday schedule.
Availability to work weekends is required as weekends are an important time for resident engagement and community programming.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Have experience working with a social or recreational activities program in a health care setting, and preferably have experience working with people living with dementia
Enjoy working as part of a team to arrange, organize, and assist with activities both on and off campus, such as holiday and birthday celebrations, social events, community outings, and exercise programs
Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
Have a commitment to confidentiality in respect to resident status and medical history
Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
Touchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees. That’s why we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to our team members who work 30+ hours per week which includes:
Paid time off (including holidays)
Health, dental, and vision insurance plans for employees and eligible dependents
Education assistance
Bonus and retirement plans
Health care, dependent care, and commuter Flexible Spending Accounts
On-Demand Pay allows you to access pay as you earn it
Employee Assistance Program
Supplemental insurance options
We are looking to hire individuals whose values align with ours and who believe in doing everything they can to lead by example in safety, compassion, and empathy. If that sounds like you, we encourage you to apply.
