Our apprentices are trained by the best irrigation techs in the industry. Whether you are a seasoned service tech or just starting out, we can help you hone your craft. We work hard, but we also play hard—enjoy foosball, pool, basketball, and bring your skills!
MORE ABOUT THE SERVICE TECH/APPRENTICE JOB:
Understanding of plumbing, ability to solder, electrical skills, use of volt/ohm meters, hydraulics, flow rates, turf management, precipitation rates, run-time programming.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specification sheets.
Assist with installation in a timely manner without sacrificing quality.
Provide professional communication with clients, office staff, and field personnel.
Confidence in taking, following, and giving directions; demonstrate good leadership skills.
Perform vehicle and equipment maintenance, manage and order inventory for daily jobs.
Availability during winter months (December, January, February, March), including weekends and holidays, for snow removal services as needed.
SERVICE TECH/APPRENTICE REQUIREMENTS:
Valid driver’s license
Clean driving record and insurable
Ability to speak English; bilingual skills are a bonus
Pass a drug test
Authorized to work in the USA
Not afraid of heights
BONUS SKILLS THAT INCREASE PAY:
IA Certifications: CIC, CLIA, CID, CIT, CLWM
NE Backflow Certification
ALP Lighting Certification
Bilingual English/Spanish
Compensation: $16.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
