Full-Time Interventional Radiologic Technologist – Advanced Modality
BJC HealthCare System is hiring an Interventional Radiologic Technologist for the Advanced Modality team at Barnes‑Jewish Hospital Interventional Radiology Mallinckrodt Department.
Position Details
Full‑Time (36 hours per week)
10‑hour day shifts – 4 days per week (Mon‑Fri 7:30‑18:00)
Call rotation for week overnights and weekends
Responsibilities
Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
Performs studies independently, including on‑call situations, portable exams, and other site as required.
Performs image post‑processing and circulates procedures.
Works independently with a multidisciplinary team performing fluoroscopic imaging procedures.
Participates in PDP program and Radiology Leadership Development Program.
Supports work/life balance programs.
Operates Siemens Fluoro units, GE Ultrasound, and Epic system.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or trade school equivalency (or higher) in Radiologic Technology.
Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T. (R)).
No experience in Interventional Radiology required – willing to train.
Experience in X‑ray, MRI, CT, or related modalities desirable.
Prepared for call rotation and overnight shifts.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
