Fulltime Social Workers for Private Child Welfare Non-Profit in NYC (salary + excellent benefits) – Open to New Grads!
We are looking for dedicated and engaging Social Workers to be part of a well-established private child welfare non-profit organization in NYC.
Base Pay Range $50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
Location: New York, NY
Responsibilities
Provide Family Support, Therapeutic Interventions, and Family Assessment Program (FAP) services.
Lead the Safe Way Forward Program for families impacted by Domestic Violence.
Place children in the Foster Care Program with supportive families in their own neighborhoods.
Deliver Youth Empowerment Programs to help youth who have transitioned out of foster care re-engage.
Qualifications
Master’s or Bachelor’s in Social Work (MSW or BSW), Psychology, Counseling, or a related field required (New Grads welcome to apply).
Knowledge/experience or strong interest in any of the following: (1) Foster care/adoption field, (2) Child welfare system, (3) Domestic violence service system, public benefits, legal and housing systems, (4) Working with adolescents and families in a child welfare, mental health or juvenile justice setting.
Valid driver’s license required; positions involve home visits to different areas in NYC.
