CDL Truck Driver Commercial – PTO, Benefits Day 1, Home Daily. Pay Range: $25.50. Shift: Monday - Friday 3am start. The role offers stability, growth, and a strong benefits package.
Job Summary Safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate vehicle per OSHA, DOT, and company standards, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle.
Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using DVIR; record all issues.
Immediately report unsafe conditions or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
Attend all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings.
Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and address problems.
Assist other company drivers as directed.
Report incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to Operations Manager.
Notify Dispatch/Operations Manager of issues per Service Machine protocol (e.g., blocked containers, missed pick‑ups).
Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch/Operations Manager.
Dump all containers and leave locations clean and debris‑free.
Submit customer tickets when excess yardage requires removal.
Position containers upright, replace lids properly, avoid blocking driveway entrances or traffic.
Follow route assignments throughout the day and complete documentation when checking in at route end.
Qualifications
Commercial Driver’s License B (CDL). Applicant must be 18 years of age.
No prior work experience required; education not required.
Must pass pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review.
Acceptable driving record required.
