A look into the role Our deli provides a convenient place for customers to stop for breakfast, lunch, or great coffee on the go. Our friendly team prepares delicious food, delivers first‑class customer service at the deli counter, and maintains hygiene standards by keeping prep and service areas clean. You will be supported by brilliant people, and there are fantastic career development opportunities.
As Delish Deli Team Member you will:
Listen to and understand customers’ needs and advise them about our products and services.
Provide a first‑class service to all customers.
Prepare, cook and bake goods, working within food safety regulations.
Keep prep areas and counters clean and tidy, including kitchen porter and production kitchen duties.
Work as part of a team to keep all counters – SPAR Bakery and Delish Deli fresh and appetizing for customers.
Undertake other duties as required for the role.
Skills for Success
– No previous retail or foodservice experience required; we provide all necessary training.
