Assistant Purchasing Agent
for a prominent client of ours. This position is based in
Marlborough, MA . Job Description Pay : $19–$24/hour to start Assignment Length : 7-month assignment with the possibility of extension based on performance and budget Schedule : Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week Work Arrangement : Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday & Wednesday; Remote Monday, Thursday & Friday) Responsibilities Review, place, update, and track fixture orders using the Oracle system, including obtaining pricing, revising or canceling purchase orders, and coordinating required approvals. Act as a primary point of contact for store locations, vendors, and internal teams by responding to fixture-related inquiries, monitoring deliveries, and resolving order or invoicing issues. Support fixture rollouts and special projects by coordinating with store management and purchasing teams, maintaining accurate item data, running reports, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Qualifications High School Diploma required; recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply. Minimum of 2+ years of retail and/or customer service experience required. Experience in order management, sales support, or procurement support preferred. Experience with Oracle systems preferred.
