The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works team is seeking Assembly Manufacturing Engineers located in Berkeley, MO. Note:

This position is onsite at the listed location. Overview

We are looking for Assembly Manufacturing Engineers, with expertise in airplane manufacturing, production readiness, and delivery center flyaway operations. You will collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes that meet stringent quality standards. Responsibilities

Develop and implement manufacturing processes, plans, and tooling methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane assembly. Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency. Support delivery center operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers. Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations. Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout all manufacturing processes. Highlights of Products Built in St. Louis

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Security & Citizenship

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance. The US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. This position requires the ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires US Citizenship only. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. 2+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)

(Level 3)

5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education. Experience supporting stabilization and improvement efforts in a manufacturing setting. Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers. Experience with 3D model based instruction. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The Boeing Company also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. The specific programs and options available may vary by location, hire date, and collective bargaining agreements.
