Arcosa Marine is searching for a Production Superintendent for our Caruthersville, Missouri plant.
What You'll Do
Direct the activities of shop employees in accordance with Arcosa's quality and safety standards.
Strategically plan and organize daily duties of the team in accordance with production schedules.
Develop an efficient process that allows production goals to be met.
Develop, supervise, and train general hourly employees in plant operations.
Work under the general direction of the plant operations manager or business unit management.
Implement and champion continuous improvement initiatives throughout the shop.
Comply with all company safety rules and procedures.
What You'll Need
Considerable knowledge of plant operations, with emphasis in steel procedures, welding, and machining.
Experience with planning work procedures, equipment, material and manpower needs.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints or work instructions.
Ability to effectively build and lead a productive work group; and perform as a member of a management team.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
2 years' experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
3 or more years' experience in a lead or supervisory role is preferred.
