The Valuation Analyst is responsible for conducting detailed financial analyses to determine the value of businesses, assets, securities, or intellectual property. This role supports decision-making for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax planning, litigation, and other strategic initiatives. The Valuation Analyst will work closely with senior team members to prepare valuation models, conduct industry and company research, and deliver robust, well-documented valuation reports.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex financial models to support valuation engagements.

Perform economic, industry, and company-specific research to inform valuation assumptions and methodologies.

Analyze historical and projected financial statements, cash flows, and comparable company data.

Assist in the preparation of detailed valuation reports, presentations, and supporting documentation.

Support transaction advisory, financial reporting, tax, and litigation support engagements as needed.

Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency of valuation deliverables.

Stay current on valuation best practices, relevant regulations, and market trends.

Ensure all work adheres to applicable professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; progress toward CFA, ASA, or CPA certification preferred.

3 years of experience in valuation, investment banking, corporate finance, or related financial analysis roles.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with financial modeling and valuation methodologies such as DCF, market multiples, or precedent transactions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

High degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

U.S. residency is required; applications from outside the United States will not be considered.

Compensation and Benefits Annual Salary Range: $70,000 – $95,000, depending on experience, education, and geographic location within the U.S.
