Cannon Corporation seeks a highly skilled Civil Senior Principal Engineer to lead our public infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be pivotal in driving projects that enhance civic amenities such as roads, bridges, and water treatment facilities. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, leadership, and a passion for sustainability and community development. The Senior Principal Engineer will oversee the project lifecycle from conception through completion, ensuring all work aligns with our commitment to improving community infrastructure while upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Develop and oversee public infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with all regulations Manage multiple project teams, fostering a collaborative environment to deliver projects on time and within budget Conduct high-level meetings with stakeholders, including public officials and community leaders, to gather input and communicate project status Ensure the application of sustainable practices and innovative technologies in project design and implementation Provide expert guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and project managers Review and approve design documents, contracts, and bid packages Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) Expert knowledge of civil engineering principles, especially related to public infrastructure projects Ability to lead and manage engineering teams Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k PE (Professional Engineer) License required PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is beneficial Certification in LEED or similar sustainability credentials is advantageous
