Leading grocery supplier looking for an experienced order selector for it's Cairo GA location. Key Requirements & Skills:
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy items, stand/walk for long periods, and work in varying temperatures (including freezers/coolers).
Attention to Detail: Crucial for order accuracy.
Teamwork & Communication: Work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Dependability: Punctual and work ethic.
Equipment Proficiency: Experience with pallet jacks/forklifts is often required or trained on-site.
********Deep dive background check and drug screening required. This is an opportunity for full-time employment!******* 2nd shift begins at 4pm Sunday through Thursday. Shift ending times may vary!! Steel toe boots/shoes and warm clothing required.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment:
Accurately select, sort, and pick grocery items (produce, dairy, frozen, etc.) from warehouse locations based on digital pick lists or voice commands. Pallet Building:
Stack items securely on pallets, ensuring stability for transport and visibility of product identification, often building mixed-temperature pallets. Equipment Operation:
Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and RF scanners to move products and manage inventory. Quality & Accuracy:
Verify selected items against orders, check for damages, and ensure proper rotation (FIFO) and sanitation standards. Staging & Loading:
Place completed pallets in designated dock areas for loading onto trucks. Inventory Management:
Assist with stock replenishment, cycle counts, and maintaining organized work areas. Safety & Sanitation:
Follow all food safety (HACCP), OSHA, and company safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and keep the workspace clean.
The essential functions of this role include: working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 8 hours at one time working weekends
