About the Role: As an Addictions Counselor, you will be responsible for providing counseling and support to individuals struggling with addiction. You will work with clients to develop treatment plans, provide individual and group therapy sessions, and monitor progress towards recovery. Your ultimate goal will be to help clients achieve and maintain sobriety, improve their overall well-being, and successfully reintegrate into society. Schedule: Hybrid (Two remote days) Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Responsibilities: Conducting assessments to determine the severity of addiction and developing individualized treatment plans Providing individual and group counseling sessions to clients Monitoring and documenting client progress towards recovery Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and treatment plans Skills: As an Addictions Counselor, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals. You will also need to have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop effective treatment plans and adjust them as needed. Additionally, you will need to have a deep understanding of addiction and its impact on individuals and society, as well as knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and resources available to support clients in their recovery journey Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field State licensure or certification as an addiction's counselor Experience working with individuals struggling with addiction Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for addiction Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field Experience working in a residential treatment setting Experience working with diverse populations .6b250ea6-cee3-481d-915c-f7283f1b2f1b
