Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders according to order slips or scanner instructions.
- Verify product codes and quantities before placing items in designated staging areas.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other lifting devices safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Ensure orders are picked with speed and accuracy to meet shipping deadlines.
- Follow all logistics procedures to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is desirable.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and product labels.
- Familiarity with RF scanning devices is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
